When we’re caught in negative thought patterns, our inner voice begins to seek out proof that our limitations are real. But as Carol Dweck explains, “this is the voice of a fixed mindset—not the truth of who we are or what we’re capable of becoming.”
I am curious and love to learn, so I’ve focused on studying what interests me most: people and leadership. My journey combines a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, 20+ years as a ski instructor, volunteer teaching opportunities at TRU, personal coaching, parenting three incredible children, and extensive organizational and volunteer work. These experiences have shaped my ability to foster trustworthy relationships and strengthen my ability to connect with diverse audiences.
When working with an organization, I deliver insights in an honest, kind, and respectful way.
Empowering teams to move forward together—guided by newly uncovered insights and grounded in evidence-based theory. I call this approach “collective collaboration”: a process that empowers people, fosters respectful relationships, and aligns strengths while managing weaknesses.
